This morning I shared the story of Dave Pahl of Haines, Alaska, who owns and runs the Hammer Museum.
The museum has over 2,000 hammers and over 7,000 items in its collection.
I wouldn’t pay to see this museum because I have a lot of hammers.
I was at a flea market at closing time and one of the sellers had this big heavy wooden crate full of hammers – no two alike!
There were sledge hammers, rubber mallets, wooden mallets, you name it. Probably 50 or more hammers in this crate.
I offered him $5 bucks for the lot and I’m pretty sure he would have given them to me for nothing just to get rid of them.
Before that I just had one or two hammers.
