In our home, we rely on fans to beat the heat. One of our oscillating fans finally died the other week so I quickly went online and ordered a new one to replace it.
There were so many choices of fans. Eventually I picked one that I thought would do the trick and it arrived last week.
The thing is huge!!! I really should have looked more closely at the dimensions.
It looks like something your local fire department puts in a doorway to clear the smoke from a house fire.
On the box it proudly states that it will blow air 45 feet!
So I had to check that out. I put the fan in a far corner of the living room and aimed it at my wife who was cooking supper in the kitchen.
Yup. She could feel it in there – 40 some feet away.
So bring on the heat – I’m ready to “get to the choppah!”
