A humidex of plus 40 or a wind chill of -40? Which one would you choose?
This is a no brainer for me – I like the heat. I prefer the dry heat but would put up with the humidity to avoid a minus 40 wind chill. (which I’ve never experienced thank goodness!)
Recently Death Valley California set a three year world record for the hottest temperature – last Sunday it was 53 Celsius. But, remember, it was a “dry” heat. I’ve visited Death Valley a half dozen times and it is certainly hot there, but I would take that over the cold temps in our North.
My wife will tell you that I drive her crazy on cool mornings when I close the windows that she opened.
The recent hot and humid spells we’ve had over the last month and a half really didn’t bother me much.
Which would you take – the heat or the cold?
