Hwy 102 closed near Stewiacke as RCMP take high-risk offender into custody

A highway closure due to a police presence in the Stewiacke area.

RCMP have Highway 102 shut down near Exit 11.

Police say officers have two people including a high-risk offender in custody.

They say there is no risk to public safety.

Motorists are asked to avoid the 102 near the Stewiacke exit and expect delays.
