ICYMI- A Rocket Will Launch From Nova Scotia!

I heard about this a while back and thought it was super cool! Did you know there’s a company right here in Nova Scotia working on space exploration—with actual launches planned from our own province?

The company is called Maritime Launch, and they’re the first commercial space company in Canada! The spaceport is located in the Municipality of Guysborough, and the first launch is expected in October 2025.

If you’re wondering whether people will be launching from the Nova Scotia spaceport—no, at least not yet. For now, it will mostly be used for satellite launches for companies, governments, and possibly research-based missions.

I think it’s incredible that this is happening right in our backyard. I can’t wait for the first launch!
