Increase Coming To Nova Scotia Child Benefit

The Nova Scotia Child Benefit is going up, as of Friday.

It’s an increase of at least $350 over last year, as eligible families can now receive over $1,200 for each child annually.

In a release, Community Services Minister Karla McFarlane says this will help families who need it most.

Eligible families must make an annual net income below $34,000 to qualify.

The amount you get is based on your taxes from the previous year.
