Update: HB Studios is hosting indoor Halloween to escape harsh weather

Update: As of Friday morning, registration has filled up for the event, and due to safety requirements, people who have not registered in advance will be unable to participate.

With Halloween festivities threatened by wet and windy weather, families in Bridgewater have a warm and welcoming alternative to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating.

HB Studios Sports Centre is hosting an indoor Halloween celebration this evening, providing a safe and festive space for kids to enjoy the spooky season.

The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m., and organizers are inviting families to bring their own candy and set up along the facility’s indoor running track. Children can then walk the loop, collecting treats in a fun and weather-proof environment.

The indoor trick-or-treating portion is free of charge, making it an accessible option for families looking to keep the Halloween spirit alive despite the forecast.

In addition to candy collection, HB Studios will also feature bouncy castles and other field activities, available for a small fee per family. These extras are designed to add even more excitement to the evening and give kids a chance to burn off some energy.

Organizers are also encouraging attendees to bring non-perishable food donations to support the local food pantry, adding a charitable twist to the night’s festivities.
