I guess the positive, if this was to happen, Santa would have more time to spend in the North Pole answering letters and getting things ready for Christmas Eve.
Malls across Canada are now experimenting with giving the big guy in red a break and instead of having Santa visit, they are hiring people to dress up like characters like the Grinch to pose for pictures and greet children.
I would rather talk to the guy that delivers the surprises on Christmas Eve, but do you think the desire to hang out with Santa at Christmas time will ever be replaced by the chance to see a cartoon character?
