Jury Selected In Criminal Negligence Case

An 11 person jury has been selected in the second trial for Candice Roxanne Moore.
She is accused of criminal negligence causing the death of her daughter, Olive, on January 19, 2013.
Moore has pled not guilty.
A mistrial was held in March after the 12-person jury couldn’t reach a verdict.
Almost 400 jurors were listed today.
Six women and five men were chosen.
A 12th juror was dismissed by the judge after the female was too familiar with the case.
Crown Prosecutor Michelle MacDonald says she expects to call six witnesses during the trial.
Opening statements will be read this afternoon.
Five days have been set aside for the trial in Bridgewater.
