K-9 Seen Being Taken to Veterinary Hospital

An eyewitness says they saw police officers taking what is believed to be a K-9 dog to the Veterinary hospital this afternoon.

This comes as Bridgewater Police and RCMP continue a manhunt for Tobias Charles Doucette after he attacked an officer with a bladed weapon and fled the scene.

We reached out to BPS and the South Shore Animal Hospital but neither could confirm information at this time about the incident or if it was connected to the manhunt.

Eyewitness Laura Stewart said “The dog was walked in by police officers and appeared to be limping.”
