The Petite General Store Now Has Gas

Following a fire earlier this year it has taken some time for The Petite General Store to get back on its feet.

The fire completely destroyed the permanent structure.

They have since rented a temporary facility that offers a similar experience according to one of the owners, Tanya Shaw.

“We have a little bit of everything you would expect, even our NSLC outlet is up and running and this week we were finally able to get gas in.”

Providing gas took more time as getting the proper pumps set up in compliance can be a time-consuming endeavor.

Shaw also says fans of the store will be happy to know they still have a large stock of hard ice cream, something that remains popular even in the winter months,

The permanent structure was fully removed this week. Store management is now in the process of drafting plans and they hope their permanent facility will be open by the busy summer season.
