LaHave Ferry resumes service

After a nearly two-month hiatus, the LaHave River cable ferry is back up and running.

Crossings were halted in late October so the ferry could be towed off-site for scheduled maintenance that was originally supposed to be complete by mid-November.

The repairs however faced delays, taking nearly a month longer than originally expected.

The ferry returned to it’s terminal late last week and after passing some tests it was put back into service over the weekend.

It will now operate on its regular schedule.
