The Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre is now closed to the public.
The multi-purpose facility suspended services on Wednesday and is freezing memberships and monthly passes.
Refunds will be offered to people who may have lost out on money for pre-paid classes.
The multi-purpose facility was going to try and remain open if permitted to do so but changes earlier this week directed it to temporarily close.
