Leaders remain active as N.S. election one week away

One week until Nova Scotians go to the polls.

PC leader Tim Houston made an announcement Tuesday morning in Halifax, saying his party will make historic infrastructure investments in roads and highways.

He was then scheduled to campaign in the HRM.

Liberal Zach Churchill focused in on renters, saying they’re committed to better rent control, closing the fixed-term lease loophole and reversing cuts to the rental supplement.

He’s scheduled for another virtual town hall Tuesday night on affordability.

NDP leader Claudia Chender cast her vote at an advanced poll in Dartmouth in the morning.
