A listener is looking for some advice for this dilemma:
I have a strange phobia – a fear of driving. I’ve never had a driver’s license and I’m 24. I feel like I’m missing out on all kinds of things because I have to rely on others to get around. I’ve never been a passenger in a car accident, but ever since I turned 16 and was able to get my license, I just always said, “I’m not ready”. I turned down driver’s ed in high school and I’ve made excuses every time friends or family have offered to teach me to drive. What can I do to get the confidence to give this a try?
