“My ex passed away last month. We divorced 20 years ago, she remarried and we had not spoken during that entire time. My daughter who’s almost 30, grew up with her mom. I didn’t go to the funeral which was in another province because it just didn’t seem right to me.
Now my daughter is very unhappy with me for not going. Was I wrong for not going, if only for my daughter’s sake?”
