Looking For Work? Here Is The Post CoVid Job Situation

Today we celebrate those that work to keep fresh food coming to our table as this is “Farm Workers Day”. As things are starting to get rolling again, the sad reality of a closed sign in the door for a couple months means some businesses will never reopen. Also some big businesses are scaling back to make up for loses, like Starbucks as they announced yesterday they plan to close 200 Canadian locations.

The other bad news that has come to the forefront amid this reopening is that even though 1.75 million jobs added seems like a lot across Canada, that is only 68% of what was lost. Also women might be missing out or needing to look into careers doing things like construction as most of those jobs tend to be in male dominated industries.
