Lumberjacks return to LCLC for home opener

The South Shore Lumberjacks are set to return to Bridgewater this weekend for their regular season home opener against the East Hants Penguins.

The matchup will take place on Saturday, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre (LCLC).

This game carries significant weight for both teams, as the Penguins are eager for revenge after last season’s playoff series, where the Lumberjacks mounted an impressive comeback from a 3-0 deficit to advance to the finals.

The Lumberjacks, coming off a strong previous season, are aiming to capitalize on their momentum. They fell just short of the championship title, losing to the Antigonish Bulldogs in game six of the finals.

Tickets for the home opener are still available.
