The Town of Lunenburg appointed an interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) this month, naming Kevin Malloy to the role.
Malloy was retired when he accepted the role but he took it on the condition that it was an interim appointment. Prior to retiring Malloy served as CAO for the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg.
The appointment was in discussion a few days before it was approved by council on November 8.
He is filling the role as it was recently vacated by longtime CAO Bea Renton who recently retired.
