Poll Shows Majority of Canadians ‘Strongly Oppose’ Convoys

A new poll from Leger asked Canadians whether or not they support the ongoing trucker convoys taking place around the country and although there is some support the overwhelming majority were opposed.

The question Leger posed to respondants was, “Overall, do you support the message the trucker convoy (also known as Freedom Convoy) protests are conveying of no vaccine mandates and less public health measures, or do you oppose the message?”.

Of the 1,546 respondents, 62 per cent opposed the convoys with 47 per cent saying they strongly oppose it.

Looking at those in support of the convoy, 32 per cent support it in some capacity with 16 per cent strongly supporting and 15 per cent somewhat supporting the convoys.

Seven per cent of respondents said they did not know whether or not they supported the convoys.
