A new survey suggests a small majority of us want the handshake permanently replaced. It makes sense during these pandemic times.
But what do we replace it with?
22% of respondents suggested replacing the handshake with a wave.
15% suggested no replacement, just a verbal greeting.
4% said a fist bump but that might be just as bad as a handshake.
If none of the above grab you, perhaps we should start thinking now about an alternative to the handshake.
I’ve heard some people say we should try “jazz hands” which just made me chuckle.
