A man and his dog died in a house fire in Shelburne County.
It happened overnight Sunday in West Head.
RCMP say firefighters arrived to a residence fully engulfed in flames.
The 74-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, and a dog that lived with the man was found inside the home.
Police say the fire doesn’t appear to be suspicious, but the investigation is ongoing.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner and Fire Marshal’s office are assisting.
