Man Arrested After Home Invasion In Shelburne County

A 46 year old man has been charged after a home invasion in Shelburne County.

Just before Wednesday at midnight, RCMP received a complaint at a residence on Sandy Point Road.

Police learned on arrival that three men broke into the home, where three other men were inside sleeping.

RCMP say the suspects damaged the home and assaulted one of the occupants.

Two suspects got away before police arrived, and RCMP are still searching for them.

Meanwhile, the man that was arrested was released on conditions, and will appear in court at a later date.

Police say the investigation is continuing, and anyone with information are asked to call Shelburne RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
