A valley man is facing assault charges after hitting a woman with a metal pipe.
It was early Thursday around 3:30am, when RCMP responded to an assault outside a home on Hwy 1 in Auburn.
A man and woman were arguing when he hit her with the pipe.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The 24-year-old suspect has been arrested and will appear in court Monday.
