Man charged after ramming tractor into Union Square home

A man is facing mischief charges after a tractor repeatedly rammed into a home in Union Square.

Lunenburg District RCMP say they responded to the report Sunday around 9 p.m., and once on scene, saw a man actively destroying a home on Cornwall Road with a large farm vehicle.

The person inside the residence and the man on the tractor, know each other.

There were no physical injuries.

The 55-year-old suspect from New Germany was arrested at the scene, charged with:

  • Mischief Causing Danger to Life
  • Mischief
  • Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • Failure to Comply with Undertaking

He appeared in court and was released on conditions.
