A mandatory water conservation notice for Annapolis County.
In a media release, Tuesday evening, the municipality warned customers of the Margaretsville Water Utility that the reservoirs levels are critically low.
Under the conservation order, the following are banned:
- water gardens, lawns, trees, etc
- wash vehicles or homes
- fill pools or run sprinklers
This applies to residences and businesses, and anyone who breaks the rules might get their water service disconnected.
