Many without power after messy storm blows through Nova Scotia

Many Nova Scotians are waking up in the dark on Tuesday after another blast of messy weather.

The storm brought snow, rain, and strong wind gusts to the province on Monday.

Winds were set to gust up to 100 km per hour, while 40 mm of rain was also in the forecast.

Nova Scotia Power is reporting as of 9 a.m. nearly 4,000 customers are without electricity in scattered outages throughout the province.

The utility estimates the power will be turned back on for many throughout the morning and afternoon.
