I dread the lead up to Easter when some local theatre group decides to bring back the musical Jesus Christ Superstar.
Everytime I announce the show, I’m guaranteed to say “Superstore” instead of “Superstar”
I’ve struggled with this one for decades.
I have friends who can’t say funeral or ambulance. It comes out “fru-neral” and “amblements”.
Definitely not the friend to have in an emergency.
