Brooklyn’s Sarah Mitton finished sixth at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
The 23 year-old had a top throw in the women’s shot put of 17.62 metres.
Meanwhile, 24 year-old Max Flinn of Chester and his partner Allison Surrette finished ninth overall in the mixed multi-hull sailing event.
