Work at the legislature wrapped up early today to allow MLAs to support Nova Scotians taking part in the climate change march in Halifax today.
Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Zach Churchill says it’s inspiring to see young people being engaged on such an important issue.
“Our students are, of course, worried about their future and the future of their kids and they’re really finding their voice on this issue.”
Churchill says this engagement will continue to have an impact on the work governments around the world are doing to combat climate change.
