Moment of silence to mark three years since Nova Scotia mass shooting

A moment of silence will be held April 18th and 19th to remember those lost and honour survivors of the 2020 Nova Scotia Mass Shooting.

It’s three years since the tragedy when 22 people were killed by a gunman disguised as a police officer.

The province will pause at noon on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The flags at Province House and all provincial government buildings will be at half-mast from sunrise to sunset those two days.

You can call 211 if you need emotional support during this difficult time.

Anyone experiencing a mental health crisis can call the provincial mental health and addictions crisis line any time at 1-888-429-8167.
