Liberal leader Zach Churchill lost the riding to Progressive Conservative Nick Hilton by just 14 votes.
The Liberals requested the recount based on irregularities in result reporting on election night.
Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Annapolis Royal, an automatic recount is taking place.
The PC’s David Bowlby edged Liberal Carman Kerr by just seven votes.
MLAs are being sworn-in on Tuesday.
