N.S. Senior Hockey League announces first two teams

A newly-formed hockey league has announced its first two teams.

The Nova Scotia Senior Hockey League will have franchises in Truro and Cape Breton West.

Truro’s team will play out of Colchester Legion Stadium, the same spot where the Truro senior Bearcats won the Allan Cup in 1998.

Cape Breton’s team will be based in Port Hood, and play out of the Al MacInnis Sports Centre.

The league says more locations will be announced in the coming weeks, play is expected to begin this fall.
