Looking to travel soon? You may want to double check your passport and see if it needs to be renewed.
Service Canada has warned Canadians to start the process early because there have been delays. They say it’s due to an “unprecedented surge in demand.” They have had as many as 200,000 passport request calls per day.
Wait times are reaching up to 25 days and people are waiting hours in line, in hopes of getting an appointment.
So how do you avoid not getting your passport updated in time. Plan early:
