The Region of Queens is asking residents to be careful when visiting Pine Grove Park in Milton after needles were discovered in the park.
In a tweet posted over the weekend, the Region of Queens indicated they found a large number of used needles in the park.
Pine Grove Park is quite large, coming in at 54 acres
They asked that anyone visiting the park or using it’s surrounding trails be vigilant, watching for hazards and staying on the maintained areas of the park and trails.
The Region also posted information on the correct way to dispose of sharp objects.
