I just received an email about this yesterday! Our Netflix Subscriptions will be going up in cost.
It has to do with Canada’s tax law.
Back in November of last year the federal government announced a plan to tax digital services like Netflix . They will now be adding federal GST/HST to our memberships.
The new charge will start on or after July 1, 2021.
