The Town of Bridgewater is looking to the future of sustainability.
A new project is looking at how to embrace new technologies that will help the environment while saving residents money.
Sustainability Planner, Leon de Vreede is leading the energy initiative.
He says they are hoping to answer some important questions.
“What is energy?” he says. “Where does it come from? How does it serve us? What are our energy needs now and in the future?”
De Vreede says the project won’t be all talk.
He says they plan to get the ball rolling with some practical changes sometime next year.
