A New Glasgow man is facing theft charges after he allegedly stole from vendors during this year’s Pictou County RibFest over the weekend.
Police say that between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Sunday, August 13, the man stole equipment, food, and other items from a total of eight vendors at the festival. As a result, the 56-year-old man was arrested and now faces eight counts of theft.
He will appear in provincial court in November.
