A new playground is coming to the MARC ballfield.
Lunenburg council approved the replacement with accessible features at nearly $98,000.
Mayor Carolyn Bolivar-Getson says they heard from the community about how important the playground is, and wanted to act.
The old playground was removed last fall after an inspection found several safety issues.
The new playground should be in place by the end of summer.
