Newspaper-Less! This Newspaper Is Getting Rid Of Paper Copies in Some Areas Of NS!

It looks like some subscribers to the Chronicle Herald are going to be disappointed! Apparently some readers received a letter saying that their subscription will be moved to a digital format on Monday. Saltwire is the company that owns the paper and claims that certain rural Nova Scotia residents will no longer be able to get the paper in well, paper form!

They go on to say that sales of the paper verion have been slipping for quite some time. Although I know it’s better environmentally and cheaper to move to an online format, I think I would miss the convenience and the nostalgia of actually holding something in your hand as you read it! How do you feel about this? Have you received the letter?
