So I was pretty bummed to find out they canceled the Academy of Country Music Awards. I love music award shows because they are basically big concerts.
Well there is no reason to be disappointed anymore . The ACM awards have been postponed till September but the Academy has announced that next month, they are going to feature an “ACM Special” in the award shows place.
It’s called “ACM Presents: Our Country”, and will air same place, same time and will feature conversations and at-home intimate acoustic performances from Top Country artists. It’ll also have highlights from past ACM award shows.
The show is all about promoting the “Best of the Best” of country music and encouraging social distancing with Covid-19.
Get ready for it, “ACM Presents: Our Country” will air on CBS, April 5th starting at 9pm.
