Dumping Day update: LFA 33 to open Monday, ‘no decision’ on LFA 34

Some lobster fishers will start their season on Monday.

Dumping Day for LFA 33 is scheduled to start at 7 a.m, the area stretches from Shelburne County to Eastern Passage.

Pre-season weather calls were held Saturday morning for both LFA 33/34.

Another call is happening for 33 tomorrow morning at 6 to make sure there are no last minute forecast changes.

For LFA 34 off Digby and Yarmouth counties, no decision was made.

Another call to look at Monday will be held Sunday morning at 7.
