The Nova Scotia Marathon goes this Sunday in Barrington, Shelburne County.
Hundreds of runners will take part in the full, half, 10 and 6k events.
The route goes through Barrington Passage and Cape Sable Island.
Drivers should note that the Causeway will be reduced to one lane for most of the morning.
The marathon begins at 7 a.m, with awards given out at 11 a.m. at the Sandy Wickens Memorial Arena in Barrington.
The marathon is qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
