A few people have now shared this event with me over on our Facebook page, and it’s a wonderful event to take part in.
It’s called the “Nova Scotia Strong Virtual Run”. You can join others in NS and help raise money for the families of those who lost their lives, from the tragedy here in our province.
Here’s what it’s all about:
“Hey Lunenburg county it is our turn to show our support. On Sunday May 10 let’s run as a Nova Scotia strong group. We ask for a 25$ donation per family with all monies going directly to the families affected by the recent tragedy in Colechester Co. Run or walk a 5 km route from your home. Take pictures and videos to show this beautiful province what it means to our community ❤️Money can be sent etransfer to miller@bellaliant.net. Please include your full name in the comments of the transfer.We thank you in advance for your support!s”
