Northumberland Ferries Limited will continue to operate on a reduced sailing schedule from Wood Islands PEI to Caribou, Nova Scotia until at least August 14th.
They are awaiting the delivery of a new ferry to replace the MV Holiday Island that caught fire a few weeks ago.
Once the ferry is delivered, they plan to operate two ferries each way once again.
The company hopes to have the new ferry before the next sailing schedule is released.
