Nova Scotians should prepare ahead of Hurricane Lee

It’s not too early to prepare for Hurricane Lee.

While the impact on our region is not yet known, Nova Scotia Emergency Management Office is out with some tips.

You should have enough food and water to last 72 hours.

They also encourage you to have a full tank of gas and batteries for flashlights and radios, and to have your prescriptions filled.

Securing loose objects around your yard and cleaning up tree branches can also help.

The EMO office reminds you to monitor forecasts for the latest conditions.
