Proposed changes would make it easier to vote in Nova Scotia.
The provincial government looking to amend the Municipal Elections Act.
One change would allow anyone who has lived in the province for six months to vote if they move into a new community.
Currently, a person has to reside in a community for three months to cast a ballot.
Another potential change would see people no longer needing identification.
They would swear an oath instead.
The next municipal and school board elections will take place on October 15, 2016.
