COMEAU, Inez Leona – Age 74, of Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Simpsons Corner, she was a daughter of the late Owen Clayton and Pearle Joyce (Zwicker) Arenburg.
Inez was a homemaker; but did enjoy working seasonally for DeLong’s Farms in Barss Corner, making Christmas tree wreaths. Surviving is her daughters, Karen Comeau, Simpsons Corner; Nancy Greek, Wileville; grandchildren, Zoe Silver, Morgan Greek, and Austin Greek; great-grandson, Justin Silver; sisters, Agnes Robar, Wileville; Izilda Robar, Springfield, and brother, Eric (Mildred) Arenburg, Chelsea; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Lorna Silver; and 4 siblings in infancy.
There will be no service by personal request. No flowers please, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Emmanuel United Church, Hemford.
