With a deep feeling of loss, the family of Judith Maryellen Menard, 76, of Chester Grant, shares the news of her passing on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater.

Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of the late William and Maryellen (Kinsella) Thompson.

Judith leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years, Roger, as well as her sons, Richard of Halifax and Robert (Laura) of Dartmouth. Her memory will be cherished by her much-loved grandchildren: Alaisha, Maia, Carole, Patrick, Rene, and Daniel. She is also survived by her brothers, Matthew (Renee) and Phillip (Bonnie), and her sisters, Mary Thompson and Catherine Thompson, all of Quebec, along with several nieces and nephews.

Judith was predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Alex and Tim Thompson.

In keeping with Judith’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public memorial service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.
