PADDOCK, Michael James – Age 79, of Bridgewater, formally of Yarmouth, passed away on Friday February 26, 2026, at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, NS.

Born in Yarmouth, NS on January 26, 1947. He was a son of the late Thomas and Marjory (Bangay) Paddock.

Michael is survived by his wife, Cecilia; son, Willard Paddock; step-sons, Steven, Randy, and Sheldon Melanson; four brothers; and three sisters.

By personal request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
